The Autumn rains are here it seems

Water tank owners are loving the rain as the tanks fill. We are now one month into Autumn and the warmth of Summer still remains but the firewood are now being stacked to make ready for the Winter chills.
Went to Hamilton a couple of weeks back and took photo of Savanah, Keyley ( front of her) Mack (in blue) Kayson.

Its been a while but Kia ora

A great time was had in The Gold Coast in Australia. From left: Oliver, Charisma & Ngamihi and Ben makes the forth . We Were there for 7 days during the school holidays.
We have all agreed that we must take another holiday there next year, so something to look forward to. We are all awaiting the arrival of another baby for Savanah due anytime now, so lots of excitement in the whanau.
Will post a photo of Savanah when i can figure out how to find where i saved the photos.

Here are our pets Putiputi (flower) and Kapua (cloud). Putiputi will be 2yrs old in August and Kapua is 7mts.   Kupua is enjoying Jaz the Golden Labrador from next door  

Its a beautiful day

I don't know how many idea names i came up with before settling on "Making distances seem closer" and to see it in print makes me happy with it and my desire is to make believe if only for a period in time that distance is not an issue when missing my family.  My children live both here in Aotearoa and Canada and 4hrs / 6hrs by car as apposed to 20hrs by air makes no difference when a mum is thinking of her children, grandchildren, daughters and son in law.
